What is Rainbows?
Rainbows is a 6 hours training on how to include children and youth with developmental disabilities in child care and in school. Rainbows is set up so you can attend on Saturdays in various locations. We are looking for locations to hold the trainings. Who should attend?
All child care providers, early childhood teachers, and families who are interested in working with ALL children. All training dates and locations will be announced.
What will you learn?
You will learn children with developmental disabilities like to learn, play, and be with friends just like typically developing children. You will also receive an assortment of materials to use in your child care or classroom. We will talk about how you can use these with ALL children.
Will licensing credit be awarded?
Yes, 6 hours.
Cost?
There will be a nominal charge for administration costs.
