Special Programs

Children's Special Health Services--provides support and information to CSHS, parents, clinics and the community.

Project Gumbo--Sports competition for students with physical and visual disabilities.

Family, School Community Project--Provides resources, training and supports to parents and professionals to ensure better educational options for children and youths with special needs.

Project PROMPT--Provides information on educational lawws, rights and advocacy.

STAR Project--Provides information on transition, rehabilitation, supported employment, and independent living services.  Assists adults with disabilities in gaining access to services that enable them to reach their full potential for working and living in the community.

Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities--Provides individuals, families and professionals with information and referrals regarding information on services, resources, policies and legislative issues.
