Mission and Vision
The mission of Children’s Special Health
Service (CSHS) Program it to identify priority needs of children
with special health care needs.
What Do Children’s Special Health (CSHS)
Clinics Provide?
CSHS clinics provide sub-specialist care,
parent support, care coordination, transition services,
nutritional consultation, medical test and procedures such as
lab, X-rays, EKG’s, hospitalization for medical and surgical
diagnostic and treatment such as wheelchairs, hearing aids and
prostheses, Prescription medications and special formulas for
the CSHS eligible condition may also be provides. CSHS will bill
private insurance and/or Medicaid. CSHS may also be the payer of
last resort for eligible children with no other source of
payment.
